Time is the currency of earth. And we all have this currency.
I know a lot of people who believe in learning about time management.
In my opinion, the last thing you need to manage is time.
There’s something else you need to manage that is much more important, if you want to make the most out of your time.
This is what I explore in detail in today’s motivational video.
Pat Mesiti
Yes, agreed. How my time is used to achieve my needs and wants is my own choosing and discipline aids with this use of time.
Thank you, Pat. So true.
My father always brought us up to think ahead. His motto was don’t live for today, live for tomorrow, in other words plan ahead. Time is very important. I try not to waste time. I use my diary everyday and not one day is wasted. I am retired now and have a couple of online businesses. The night before I prioritise my schedules for the next day. Spend a couple of hours on my businesses, attend to my chores, appointments etc. I have days scheduled for helping my family, cleaning my home, washing, while putting 1-2 hours work in my businesses. It’s also very important to have a Me Day! My Me Day is having a massage, having my hair done, going out to lunch or getting my nails done. This is called treating yourself a day out for your busy days.
At the end of the day I always check my days work and always happy to say to myself I have made a productive day. This all comes down to be organised. Always use a diary, have a list and prioritise what’s on your list and make it a habit from waking up to going to bed. As the saying goes. Time waits for no one!
Hi Sharon, Thank you for sharing that—your father’s wisdom clearly made a lasting impact. Your disciplined, structured approach to each day is inspiring, and your balance between productivity and self-care is a great reminder of how powerful good habits and planning can be.
Wise message Pat.
Excellent point. Thank you.
Yes Pat
I am more aware of this everyday.
God Bless you and all you do to keep us aware and how much you care x
Good point (of the many!) – “How do you qualify people for my time?”
In our busy lives it can be quite overwhelming to do all we need, so my diary is my good friend. Taking on too much is my downfall but I am trying to manage time more efficiently. One course at a time instead of two from next year, working weird hours is unavoidable at this stage but the courses will change that. Thats my plan.
Hi Gayle, Thanks for sharing — it sounds like you’ve got a solid plan in place. One course at a time sounds like a wise move, and it’s great that you’re being intentional with your time. Keep going — the effort now will definitely pay off!
