The best employees, most times, have their plates full. So, instead of assigning them more tasks, check your other staff's schedule to see if someone else can complete the job.

Make Sure you have Transparent Workflow and Approval Processes

When delegating tasks, all your team members must be on the same page by setting a transparent workflow and approval process. You do not want your staff to begin a project and get stuck because no one can take over responsibility.

A workflow that isn't transparent leads to unhappy clients and loss of projects. Establish a transparent process for carrying out assignments, so all your team members will know who's in charge of a particular task and when they are in charge of it.
