A powerful lesson from ‘Charlie Tremendous Jones’

Posted on: February 3rd, 2025 in Mindset by Mesiti | 4 Comments

When I met “Charlie Tremendous Jones” he made a statement that truly impacted me.

He said: “You’ll be the same person you are today, in 5 years time, except for the books you read, the people you listen to and the experiences you have”.

We all have a future self, but are we investing in our future self?

So in today’s motivational video I share how to invest in yourself to enjoy a better, brighter future.

That is interesting about the counselling focussing backward and we cannot look in both directions at the same time. I did not think about it that someone that feels they do not have a future, looks to the past. I remember you said, “Where’s your focus?” I think that saying stands out for me in almost every situation. I probably even repeat it in my comments on here. Thanks for the reminder again today, Pat.

Hi Melysa Maree, That’s a great insight! It’s amazing how a simple shift in focus can change everything. Glad the reminder resonated with you! Pat

    Hi Pat
Love your statement; Learning stop when you
die. I am not a learner. But listening to Dr John and the late Dr Bob even you Pat. It really gave me something to think about. Thanks to you Pat.

Hi Terii, Glad to hear it got you thinking! Learning happens in so many ways—just being open to new ideas is a great start. Keep going! Pat
