How to build a Good Name

Posted on: April 27th, 2026 in Mindset by Mesiti | 7 Comments

A good name can take a lifetime to build and in one second, you can lose it.

And once it’s gone, it’s incredibly hard to earn back.

Because your name is your reputation. It’s what people say about you when you’re not in the room.

So in today’s motivational Monday video, I share how you can build and maintain a good name so it can open more doors than money ever could.

  1. Marie Catron says:

It is that very reason why I can’t seem to get onto something I can sustain in starting and completing when it comes to all the opportunities you have provided so far. My life is very randomic helping others. I will be away for 4 weeks as off 29th again helping another so I won’t be able to attend any presentations. Maybe when I come back. Thank you for your ever present energy in encourage individuals like me to do better in life. I have to add I do think perhaps it’s too late at the age of 75 to make it happen for me. God Bless

    • Pat Mesiti says:

Hi Marie, Thank you for your honesty and for all you do for others. I want to gently challenge one thing you said — it is never “too late.” At 75, what matters most is not starting everything, but starting something simple, sustainable, and aligned with the life you already have. You don’t need to step away from helping people to move forward. We just need to build something that works with your life, not against it. God bless, and safe travels.

  2. Bertram Daniel says:

Be straight all the time with no deviations!

  3. Jayne Saunders says:

Agreed, but a lot of us get stuck as the ‘go to’ person and spend xo much time helping others that we never have time to help ourselves, or feel guilty when we do, Can you help us to work on that issue? Thanks for everything you do for us Pat xx

    • Pat Mesiti says:

Hi Jayne, That’s such an important point, and so many people can relate to it. Being the “go to” person often means everyone else comes first, but you can’t keep pouring from an empty cup.

  4. Jenny Staker says:

    Thankyou, very positive and affirming

  5. Michael Brodribb says:

    Thank you Pat,
I agree My family and mentors taught me that.
    Cheers
    Michael
