5 Tips to Increase Your Productivity

Increasing your productivity can be a simple or arduous task depending on which route you decide to take… Here at MesitiHQ we like to work smarter – not harder. Here are some of the top tips for increasing productivity from our very own team members.

  • 1. Change the scene if you are at a stand still

Going for a walk to clear you head, or popping to the local coffee shop to brainstorm or respond to emails can do you the world of good. A fresh environment has been scientifically proven to increase productivity and creativity.

  • 2. Create a to do list

Creating a to do list not only helps you to prioritise, you also get the added satisfaction of ticking off any tasks that you complete, which psychologically gives you a great confidence boost and a feeling of satisfaction and accomplishment. What’s not to like?

Through creating list in order of priority, you will be able to see the scale of what you are working on and be able put your tasks into the perspective of your own day, see which is paramount and what can easily be left until later in the day.

  • 3. Ask for help

Asking for help can be a hard task but to get ahead sometimes you have to utilize some of your team members to smash a task out.

Whether it’s finding a solution to a problem or brainstorming for an event¬– two brains are better than one.

  • 4. Set goals

Setting goals inside and outside of the work place are essential for motivation, and staying motivated is key.

Regularly assessing yourself, seeing where you can improve and reinvent your ideas and routes to accomplishment are an easy way to increase feelings of productivity, which will in turn set you on the path of being more productive.

  • 5. Treat yourself

This is the most important aspect of being productive and is the one point all of MesitiHQ’s team members pointed out!

Treating yourself is a sure fire way of keeping yourself motivated when doing a brilliant job isn’t enough anymore.

Treating yourself every month, or when you feel you deserve it is in important aspect of any career. It will make you feel revitalised, will improve your mood, and will obviously serve as motivation.

Whether you treat yourself to a set of golf clubs, a day spa or cooking class, something simple can drastically change your outlook.
